That was the year that was…

The last day of Year 7 has come and gone and we  are having the time of our lives. We have experienced many different things of our first year of high school, including some fantastically memorable extra-curricular activities.

During this year the students of 2009 did many terrific things such as:

- Year 7 Camp with Ms Imber, Mr Wilson and all of the year 7 staff

The camp was held at Shoalhaven Heads which we found as a good chance to interact with the students we have never met before, which was fun.

- MADD Night with Mr Wood, Ms Mayhew and Ms Gilbert.

MADD Night was probably the best night of year 7. There was so many amazing performers showcasing their wonderful talents and showing that they can do it.

- Band shirt day with Mr Wood and all the teaching staff

WOW, this was a great show and a great way to end a fantastic year. The performers included some students playing and singing and one of the teachers band performed some of their song which ended up making a huge moshe pit out the front.

- Science Camp held by Ms Morgan, Ms Imber and Mr Wilson

For some lucky students got chosen to stay in Killalea for three days and two nights, So when they came back to school we got told everything including that, if they had a choice, they would of build a house and stay there cause it was such a nice place.

So we are near the end of our Year 7 journey only 10 minutes to go till the bell rings then next year we wont be the babies of the school (YAY!!), and Emily and I hope will have as much fun next year as we did this year.

This year had gone so fast. During this year we had to fit a lot of occasions into our school diaries but it was all fun.

So have a SAFE Christmas and a Happy New Year and we will see you in 2010.
